And So It Begins...

As the mother of boys, I know there are certain realities that are inevitable. Bruises and broken bones, motorcycles, strange insects, sports, missed toilet seats... the list goes on and on. Although Caden is only 19 months old, training has already begun in many of these areas. He had his first motorcycle ride at 4 months old. He fell asleep the other night enthusiastically yelling "football" over and over again. He ate his first bug before he could walk and he tries to catch crickets and spiders with his bare hands. It's already happening....
After a motorcycle ride with Dad, the boys spent some time hanging out in the garage. Caden is always warned to stay away from the motorycle after their rides because it gets so hot. But as usual, curiousity beat out our warnings. What do we know anyways? Caden hopped on the motorcycle and learned what "hot" really means. Check out the war wounds...

Ouch, poor thing! That looks so painful. Burns hurt--I feel so bad for him. :(

Poor little guy! I hate it when they get hurt! And it does happen all too often here in our house. I can agree with the whole "boy" thing. I think some are more prone to it then others... like Aiden! ha ha... I hope they take it easy for your sake! :-)

Laurie,
Dallin is a cutie pie look at those dimples. Aww that is sad about Caden gee I guess they have to learn what to avoid at a young age if he's gonna be a tough guy. He sounds like a good kid. It was great to read about your family we miss every one from the ward.
